Due to staffing challenges within the Vale of Glamorgan Local Authority departments, they have issued the following statement:

“There are currently a number of staffing issues in other departments, and this is currently affecting the return time for searches. While we aim to return within 15 working days, please be aware that searches could be delayed beyond this time frame due to these issues.”

We are in constant contact with the Vale of Glamorgan regarding this matter and will continue to monitor the situation closely. Should any delays arise with your searches, we will provide updates on a case-by-case basis.

Neath Port Talbot:

Please be advised that Neath Port Talbot Local Authority is currently taking approximately 20 working days to return replies to enquiries. Unfortunately, this timeframe is beyond our control, and we are unable to expedite the process.

If you require search results sooner than this, the only alternative at present is to order an official local authority search.
